Lasik surgery is a type of refractive eye surgery to correct your nearsighted, far-sighted and astigmatism which will allow you to see better without glasses or contact lenses. Your Lasik surgeon will create a flap in your cornea and then use a special laser to reshape the curvature of your eye eliminating the refractive error in your eyes.<\/p>\n<p>Most people who have laser-assisted in-situ keratomileusis (LASIK) eye surgery achieve improved distance vision without the need for glasses and contact lenses. Certain side effects, particularly dry eyes and temporary visual disturbances, are fairly common. Have an annual eye exam to determine how stable your vision is.
